directions from 1-10:
Exit Ambassador Caffery. Travel south. At the Ambassador/Bertrand split, stay to the right. Turn RIGHT onto Ridge Road (if you reach Johnston Street, you've gone a few streets too far). Drive STRIGHT on for a few miles, go around the strange roundabout. Turn LEFT onto West Broussard (at the gas station). New Hope Road [the entrance to Acadian Village] will be about 1/4 mile ahead on the LEFT.

things to know about the site:
• You may bring your own chairs to the covered stage pavillion. Seating is also available.
• Pets ARE NOT allowed at the festival site.
• Parking is FREE.
• Use of bathroom and shower facilities is FREE at Acadian Village, and will be accessable 24 hours/day during the festival.
• Ice chests ARE allowed at tent campsites, RV campsites, and at the cookoff site during the cookoff, but you may NOT otherwise bring them into the Village.
• For your safety, NO GLASS BOTTLES or glass containers of any kind are allowed inside the village or at campsites.

for tent campers...
• Tent camping is FREE and is encouraged for the event.
• Campfires of any kind are NOT permitted on the Village grounds.
• Small propane burners ARE allowed in campsites and RV campsites.
After hours jamming in campsites is also encouraged. However, there will be a seperate quiet area for tent campers who want to go to sleep after the evening performances have ended.

RV Camping will be provided on a first-come, frist-serve basis. Reservations are not neccessary,

• Water and electrical hookups [30 amp electrical can be converted to 50 amp]

• No pull throughs
• RV Campers are asked to drive down New Hope Road and turn left behind Fred. W. Gerwick Respite Center (follow road). An Acadian Village representative will collect money once you park. If you arrive after 9pm on Friday, please park and hook-up - the representative will collect in the morning.
