how to enter:
Pre-registration for the cookoff has ended. If you wish to register at the festival, a $10 late fee will be charged.

Please make your Check or Money Order made payable to "Blackpot Festival".

contest rules :
-Main Dish cooked in Cast Iron Vessel
-No open fires (gas, coals OK)
-10'X10' canopy allowed per entry
-Participants are ENCOURAGED, NOT REQUIRED to prepare enough food to allow festival goers to taste, witihin reason. *(don't prepare more than you are comfortable with for your recipe's best taste; there is no minimum amount required for tasting -- tasting is on a first come first serve basis and participants may stop providing samples at their discretion)
-Participants must provide all bowls and utensils for tasting
-Cooking time will be from 12 Noon until 5pm on Saturday. Dishes MUST be ready and submitted by 5pm.
-Winners will be announced between Saturday evening’s main stage performances.

1st place in each category $100 and plaque
2nd place in each category $50 and plaque
3rd place in each category receives a plaque
